YOU, MOVEMENT

[FALL WINTER 2025 COLLECTION]

You walk fast, everyone walks fast. All around you everything moves, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, the wind. You feel your legs stretching with each step, your hands in your pockets searching for warmth, your shoulders tight.
You feel yourself being pulled by a force outside of you.

You stand still. Head, legs, arms, feet still. Everything around you continues its frenetic whirl. In contemplation, in traffic, as if you were standing on a cliff overlooking the sea in some remote Northern European location. As you stop, you realize that everything inside you is moving, your heartbeat, your breathing a little labored, the tingling circulation in your legs, your eyelids opening and closing, your shoulders relaxing. You are not moving, you are movement.

You resume the walk. You move with the others, but at your own pace, more leisurely, then a run, following the crowd, then walking in the opposite direction, choosing a different way to walk.
Once at home you are embraced by the still peace of objects. Static entities that come alive with your every gesture, however small.
You improvise a dance, between you and them; you, movement, and the objects, especially those you wear, that move with you.

For the FW25 collection, cU focuses on one of the most important aspects of the relationship between body and garment: movement. Garments that accompany, follow and mold to the body. Aesthetically and structurally suitable for the most diverse contexts: hectic runs, formal gatherings, moments of relaxation, even dancing.

Understanding the difficulty of finding moments of contemplation, of breathing and looking inward, especially in the urban context, the FW25 cU collection recalls the colors of those landscapes that instead naturally induce contemplation. The deep greens of the forest, the color of the pines and junipers with their blue berries, the late grass that grows on the cliffs in winter and the heather that covers their valleys. The blue of the deep sea, the mouliné blue of the
waves breaking on the rocks.
In a dimension of escapism from reality, we take with us some of that imagery that helps us stop, breathe, tune in and face everyday life with a different cadence, more our own.
