“I can say that until some time ago my existence followed a straight path. I studied economics and then, in a short time, I found a regular job: I made good money, I lived in a pretty area of Milan, I could afford to hang out frequently. I kept going like this, letting myself be carried away by things, but without really being happy. So, at a certain point, something happened. And nothing was the same as before.”
“I imagined it from the beginning as a corner of California, inhabited by young people who have experienced the city and their new ideas. A place that brought together the manual work of the origins and the new frontiers of communication, graphics and marketing for the commercial side. So it has even become a place of attraction for everyone: during harvest times or when there is planting, trimming, drying, sifting or cutting to do, dozens and dozens of volunteers arrive from Milan, ready to lend a hand and be part of it all, even if only for a day."
“I now realise that our real needs are not the well furnished house in the city centre, the nice car, the salary, the grade of relevance within the company. Our real needs are simple, spiritual and social. Nothing else is needed to feel good. We need a family, we need a community. What I want to create here, on my grandfather's land.”
Stefano Buzzi Zerman was born in Varese, at the age of 6 he moved to Verona, a city to which he became attached forever and returns whenever he can. His desire to explore and see new worlds took him first to Milan, where he graduated in economics and marketing, and then to the more distant Australia: he lived 4 months on the road in a van, came into contact with the new age spirituality that permeates the Australian continent, lived in an ashram for two months, worked as a waiter, as a labourer and in the famous farms, falling in love with rural life. Back in Italy, he works in marketing technologies and advertising, but the reclusion at home due to Covid-19 pandemic and the death of his grandfather, who left him some land as an inheritance, gives him the strength to question everything: he founds the Bosco Grosso farm and with the support of the creative agency Burro Studio a brand of legal cannabis, Baby Weeda. The brand is a success, its values have never been more relevant, filling a gap in the market: nature, sustainability, street style, healthy living, sport and wellness.
